My mission is to empower individuals to enjoy the benefits of physical movement through the practices of Yoga and Pilates. The studio provides a personalised setting and equipment to improve physical balance, flexibility and strength to all levels of experience and goals. These embodied and holistic practices encourage harmony between mind, body and soul.

I believe that everyone is on their own unique journey to both physical and mental health and my aim is to support you on your quest, for the moments/months/years that our paths cross.

Yoga

Yoga is an ancient philosophy, practice and discipline. Various styles of Yoga combine physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or relaxation to promote strength, balance and flexibility of mind, body and soul.

PILATES

Pilates is a full-body exercise system that consists of low-impact exercises using special Pilates equipment to provide resistance or support. The method emphasises core strength, proper postural alignment and muscle balance.

APPARATUS TRAINING

Apparatus Training is based on the foundations of Pilates. The session will be performed using a mixture of Pilates equipment, TRX suspension training that uses body weight as resistance, Crossover Symmetry to improve shoulder health and performance as well as mobility tools to address any restrictions. The session is designed to cultivate flexibility, and muscular strength and endurance.

PRE & POST NATAL PILATES

Safe & nurturing sessions designed specifically for the individual women during and post pregnancy. Based on Pilates exercise recommendations, modification and assists the practice supports you with body and hormonal changes through a focus on strength and posture.

Ann-Marie is an excellent pilates teacher. She is very professional and a great communicator. Her classes flow seamlessly. She is warm, positive and encouraging while gently pushing you to try harder. We are so grateful for the extra effort she put in during the Covid lockdowns to keep us all exercising and motivated.
